Simpson Named U.S. Presidential Scholar
A Caddo Parish Magnet High student has been named to the 54th class of U.S. Presidential Scholars, which is comprised of 161 high school seniors selected for their accomplishments in academics, the arts and career and technical education fields.
Senior Dakota Simpson learned today he was among this elite group of scholars. Simpson is a standout for Caddo Parish after earned a perfect ACT score and being recognized as a National Merit Commended Scholar
Simpson, who will graduate Saturday at the Shreveport Convention Center, plans to enter the mission field in Guadalajara, Mexico upon graduation.
