CMM's next football game is tomorrow night. The Herd needs to come out and support your Stallions as they take on Calvary at Byrd High School @ 7:00. Student admission is free.
The seventh-grade CMM Stallions came to play early Saturday morning for their first game of the season, resulting in a 19-6 WIN.
The Stallion defense started out strong and kept the Calvary Cavaliers scrambling the whole game. Defensive playmakers were making tackles for loss and disrupting the Calvary's passing attempts all game. Liam Tong was the defense leader.
And don’t forget about the offense!
QB Gunner Davis led a passing game that resulted in two touchdowns through the air. Receiver Aaron Kimball was a standout target with multiple catches and was responsible for one of the touchdowns. Receiver Sonny Howard was able to secure an extra point. QB Christian Feightner came in and used his legs to run the ball in for a touchdown in the second half.
CMM cross country hosted their first meet this season and came back with many wins and many individuals placing in the top ten! The 6th-grade girls won first, and 6th grade boys second! 7th/8th-grade girls and boys both placed second, with Makayla Nichols overall girl champion. Way to go, Stallions!

The NJHS September meeting will take place at 7:20 in the PAC on September 10, 2025. Please bring your August hours to the meeting!
NJHS is hosting a School Supply Drive with Volunteers of America from now until September 12. Bring new, unopened school supplies to Ms. Guerrero's room, A-117. Anyone who brings two or more unopened items AND signs for them in Ms. Guerrero's room will get Southern Maid Donuts the morning of September 12, before school. Donations can be dropped off before school until September 12.
First Priority is kicking back up this year! We have meetings every Wednesday morning in the PAC foyer. These meetings consist of a morning devotional from a student, prayer time, and visiting pastors from around the area! These will continue every Wednesday throughout the school year.
Audition camp for Legally Blonde Jr. starts today with the actual auditions are Sept. 9 & 10.
