Today all 5th grade students received a Student of the Year Packet that includes the timeline, grievance process, and informational letter.
Come have lunch with your child! No need to sign up for a specific date. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your child's schedule lunch time to check into the office. We have reserved a section of tables outside for parents and their children to sit together and eat during the child’s regularly scheduled lunch time. Any outside food from restaurants that is brought into the school must be removed from containers/wrappers with logos before entering.

World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser forms were sent home yesterday in Tuesday folders. The fundraiser starts Friday, September 15. However, in order to receive your case of chocolate you will need to prepay on locallevelevents.com print your ticket & send it along with the permission slip so your student can pick up their chocolate.

Back Gate Walking Students AM & PM Issues (UES): Students that live in the neighborhood directly behind the school can enter the back gate from 7:10-7:25. The gate is locked at 7:25. Any students coming in past 7:25 must come to the front of the school and be signed in as tardy by a parent. In the afternoon parents/guardians are parking on the street behind the back gate and causing a traffic jam on the neighborhood street. Students walking in the afternoon should be walking home, not being picked up in a car.
Every Wednesday our teachers plan together for the next week's lessons. We would LOVE some snack and drink donations for the teachers to enjoy during this time. They work so hard for our children! We also would like to have some Wednesday planning meetings sponsored (your choice!) We've had sponsors of popcorn bar, Chic Fil A, Nachos, etc..
