8th Grade Celebration Reminder! 🎉 Tomorrow, 8th grade students only may wear free dress for the 8th Grade Celebration. Students may wear school-appropriate athletic shorts. Free Dress Reminders: No tank tops, Nike Pros, slides, or Crocs. The no-go list has been updated, so students should check the list before tomorrow. Students will report to 1st hour like normal. No backpacks should be brought to school. We will be outside for the majority of the day, so students may want to wear or bring sunscreen. We will also have a small optional water balloon fight. Students probably will NOT need a change of clothes, but they may pack one in a small bag if they would like. Please note that bags will be kept in the gym and will not be locked in a room. Our Spartans are coding, creating, and problem-solving! 💻🎮 Ms. Saulsbury’s IBCA/BCA classes presented their final projects of the year, and they did an amazing job! Students used Scratch to code their own video games and then built custom controllers to play them. Using Makey Makeys, they connected their handmade controllers to the computers and were able to control their games in real time. This project allowed students to combine coding, creativity, design, and hands-on problem-solving.
