AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM CADDO MAGNET HIGH SCHOOL 🐎
Eighth graders, we are ready for you! Are you ready? CMHS will hold our Winter Preview on Sunday, January 25th, from 2:00–4:00 PM, beginning in our Performing Arts Center. Come see why Magnet is the place for you and learn about our diverse academic offerings, athletic opportunities, and extracurricular programs!
We will offer our traditional program followed by campus tours that include opportunities to explore clubs and sports. If you are ready to submit your application, you can do so at the event. The tour is optional if you have already visited the campus, but we would be happy to have you join us again!

Two YDMS Engineering teams competed in the largest Lego Robotics qualifying tournament for the 1st Lego League in the state of Louisiana. The teams used coding, engineering design, and team work to earn points through various robotic and project challenges. Out of 16 teams, the team consisting of Shinning Qiao, Braylon Anderson, Connor Anglin, and Silas Kalvelage placed 2nd in Robot Performance. The team consisting of Alex Huber, Swayer Burton, Mario Bolden, and Caleb Nissley placed 2nd for their Innovation Project presentation and this team qualified for the state tournament to be held in New Orleans.

What an unforgettable night at Youree Drive! 🎶✨
Our campus was overflowing with Christmas cheer as our choir, orchestra, and band took the stage for their holiday show. From powerhouse vocalists to a phenomenal new piano star and incredible performances from orchestra and band — our students lit up the night!
We couldn’t be more proud of the talent on our campus. YDMS truly has some of the best and brightest in the parish!
