Florida Center for Reading Research
The Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR) is a multidisciplinary research center at Florida State University. FCRR explores all aspects of reading research—basic research into literacy-related skills for typically developing readers and those who struggle, studies of effective prevention and intervention, and psychometric work on formative assessment

Neuhaus Education Center
Neuhaus Education Center was established to help struggling learners. In 2000, the National Reading Panel Report established what we already knew, that direct instruction in phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary are helpful to all students. In response to the new research, Neuhaus expanded its mission to preventing reading failure by providing teachers of all students with professional development in research-based methods of reading instruction.

Readworks
Readworks provides research-based units, lessons, and authentic, leveled non-fiction and literary passages directly to educators online, for free. Readworks curriculum is aligned to the Common Core State Standards. This site provides skill and strategy units, comprehension units, novel study units, and F/NF-paired reading passages that are leveled with question sets.
