Caddo Parish Public Schools today proudly unveiled its new district logo and tagline, symbolizing a shift as the district enters a new era under the leadership of Superintendent Keith Burton. The updated branding was officially launched to district leadership including school board members, principals, as well as school and district leadership, introducing the tagline “Excellence. Every One. Every Day.”
The new branding represents more than just a refreshed visual identity as they serve as a bold declaration of Caddo’s renewed focus on high expectations, opportunities for students and support for every school.
“This is more than a logo,” said Superintendent Keith Burton. “It’s a challenge to ourselves, a promise to our students, and a call to every person in this district to believe in the full potential of the students and staff of Caddo Parish.”
The transition away from the former slogan “We Are Caddo,” which defined the past decade, reflects a purposeful pivot. While that era brought significant accomplishments, district leaders now aim to recommit to a future grounded in excellence for all.
The new logo was designed to reflect effort, aspiration and achievement. At its heart is a dynamic red figure, reaching upward, framed by bold typography and the vibrant blue and red color palette that underscores the district’s commitment to strength, optimism, and energy.
“This design represents every student and adult in our district striving toward something greater,” Burton said. “It reminds us that excellence is not a destination. Instead, it’s a daily commitment.”
The new tagline of “Excellence. Every One. Every Day.” captures the district’s belief that excellence must extend to all stakeholders. It’s a commitment that every student deserves high--quality instruction, every educator should be equipped to succeed, and every day is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
The tagline is rooted in the district’s four pillars for achieving excellence for our students:
Engagement – Students actively learning and exploring
Opportunity – Access to challenging coursework, enrichment, and support
Belief – Adults holding high expectations for every student
Support – Systems to catch and lift students when they struggle
As Caddo Parish Public Schools enters this new chapter, the district is calling on staff, families, and our community to join in making this vision of excellence a reality.
“For us to achieve the full potential of every student and prepare them for life outside of graduation, it will take all of us joining our passions and talents to ensure that every child has access to experiences and opportunities to equip them for success,” said Burton.
