Families across Caddo Parish are invited to take the first step in their child’s educational journey during Caddo Schools’ Pre-K Round Up, taking place Thursday and Friday at elementary schools across the district that offer Pre-K programs.
Pre-K Round Up provides families with the opportunity to apply for and register their children for the 2026–2027 school year, learn more about Caddo’s early childhood programs, meet school staff and receive assistance with the enrollment process.
Caddo Schools’ Pre-K programs help young learners develop the academic and social skills needed for success in kindergarten and beyond. Through engaging classroom experiences focused on early literacy, numeracy, and social development, students build a strong foundation that supports long-term academic growth.
New this year, families who apply for Pre-K and are accepted by May 31 will receive an additional incentive. Each accepted student will receive free school supplies for the start of the 2026–2027 school year, with the supplies delivered directly to the student’s school before the first day of class.
Children who will be four years old on or before Sept. 30 may qualify for Caddo’s Pre-K programs, which include LA4 and Title I Pre-K classrooms located throughout the parish.
Parents or guardians attending Pre-K Round Up should bring the following documents:
Child’s birth certificate
Child’s Social Security card (if available)
Updated immunization records
Proof of residency (such as a utility bill or lease agreement)
Photo identification for the parent or guardian
Families are encouraged to visit their local elementary school during the school day or visit the Caddo Public Schools website for additional information about Pre-K Round Up and early childhood programs.
