With the safety of our students, staff, and families as our top priority and out of an abundance of caution, all Caddo schools and sites will remain closed on Thursday, January 18. After a thorough assessment of road conditions by both district staff and transportation agencies, there are concerns regarding travel during the morning hours, particularly in rural areas and less traveled roadways. Additionally, district maintenance teams are continuing to address issues caused by this week’s winter weather. We will continue to monitor conditions and plan to provide an update to stakeholders on Thursday.

SporTran and Healthy Blue Louisiana dropped off several bus loads of toys and bicycles for Stuff the Bus! The donations will ensure every Caddo student has a gift during this special time of year. We are grateful for the commitment of all of our community partners to this cause that will create a brighter and happier holiday season for those who need it the most. Board Member Dottie Bell has led fundraising efforts for more than a decade for our students and the community's generosity will make an immeasurable difference in the lives of our children. #wearecaddo #theyarecaddo
